It's such a rough life - but somebody's got to do it - right JW? Hey - I volunteer to ride along on the next shoot as well... if only to watch you guys work and kick the frenchmen every time they open their mouths! (do they have bouncers on airplanes or is the term poorly phrased that high up?)
I swear - we must have been standing next to each other on some of those ground shots like the Airmen above. I've got so many similar images that they couldn't have been more than 10 or 20 yards apart. (similar only in proximity - not by quality!)

Here are a few I've found going through the GML stack that I had must have missed before...

Its funny - I only remember Paul as this wild haired hippie with hair down past his shoulders, smiling from ear to ear usually, and always talkin' cameras or Christ. At one point two years ago, we were in a small group / church group at Northpoint Community and 4 of the 6 couples were 30+ years together. Amazing what things can be accomplished when seen through the lens of faith.

Thanks for pointing that out! I don't have the foggiest idea, but it's a shame. Numerous attempted contacts with the powers that be on the site haven't turned up any response at all. What a disappointment!

Gosh, I hope that's all it is. I've started saving many of these photos for my wallpaper on the computer and I was "only" up to page 215. Hopefully it won't be too hard to figure out where I was!

I remember in the recent past that there was some concern about capturing all the great wisdom (and photos) here for whatever...publishing, posterity, etc. Has anyone tried to "print" the thread out to a pdf file to see if that would work?

Oh, I hope one day to finally save up enough to equal the weight of the dust on a mustard seed.

But here is a tip to remember - since its worth a lot more than anything I have to offer - "So faith comes from hearing the message, and the message that is heard is what Christ spoke." Romans 10:17

I'm no example - I get myself into and out of scrapes all the time - always remembering our Lord is most glorified by us when we are most satisfied in Him - no matter what or how bad the circumstances may be.

I may not have the natural talent or skill set as many of the shooters here in this thread - I am convinced I am surrounded by the world's best! I know I am in fine company here and with much respect - i offer what little of value I have - and that is my faith, which informs me and gives me appreciation for the beauty and skill in y'alls work.

You know, I've been having a real hard time getting to sleep, and it's been bugging me no end. You think maybe I could get some of that P-51 medicine to solve my sleeping problem? Just a little?

I mean hey... after 3-4 hours of stick time, I might never sleep again. But that would be no problem.

I have younger siblings I'd gladly trade for a few hours stick time in a P-51.

Dear Rodolfo,

I just renewed my ISAP dues and saw you at the top of the list of new members! That's great!! Is there any chance you'll be coming to the Symposium in Dallas/Ft.Worth in '08? I'll be there and even though it's in my back yard, I think I'll stay at the hotel just to be with everyone. ANyone who has a few extra bucks, this organization is wonderful for many reasons, but if you only did the annual symposium, the $35.00 dues and the minimal cost of attending the event is money well spent. If the posts I put up during last years event are still around, you'll find a short running narrative of the types of experiences in store for you as a member. Time spent with the greats of aviation, aviation art, aviation photography, Photoshop, it gets better every year. I've seen a couple of posts on FenceCheck (another Av/Photography organization which I belong to), amd several opinions were posted that indicated there was no benefit to ISAP, well I'm a member of both, and I can tell you that the benefits are too long to list. ISAP's website and forum is somewhat weak, they need all of us to do what we've done on "Mustangs" to liven it up!
