It would be interesting to know what camera system people that regularly visit this alternative forum are using most. I realize that some of you have more than one system but which one is the most used system is what counts .
My intention was to actually feel out the regulars (read: diehards) of this alternative forum on what they use most. I am also aware that the people here are more experienced and knowledgeable than the typical photographer on the Canon forum (some didn't even know anything about, let alone used film cameras ) but I didn't expect that LF has a strong group of supporters in the digital age. MF, on the other hand, is still alive and well and the use of various backs in the MF is definitely a valid option. I knew I left out something. Apparently, I was concentrating only on the "smaller" format . I should have put in another category, like "others, not listed". But I couldn't change the poll at this point. If that's the system you use most, then please choose the last category and make a note in your reply, like Duncan did.
I'm still at a loss as to why you want to know this and what use the results will be to you or anyone? Every photographer here has different uses ( landscape, architectural, sports, documentary etc) he puts his or her cameras to and without this factor a simple poll is meaningless. From your list of equipment it seems you are pretty well equiped with the best of Canon and 'alternative' glass - what else do you need to know ?
I am working for a camera manufacturer and we are trying to figure out which camera system the majority of people on this forum use . We will be coming up with a new camera system that will enable you to adopt all lenses out there without any adapter. Just kidding, of course. This poll is done for fun, just out of curiosity. Am I supposed to have a hidden agenda for an unscientific poll like this? Nothing more than being curious about what system or systems other people use. The benefits? Not much, if any, for sure it won’t eliminate the world hunger or stimulate the world peace, which we badly need now.

I feel your pain and I know exactly what you're talking about.
Another waste of FM bandwidth...and we wonder why there are slow-loading pages.
Wow, I didn't know that it is that painfull. I thought it would be interesting to find out what camera system the regulars of the alternative forum are using. I will kill this poll within 24 hours from now.
gee some people are stuffy, not a total waste of bandwidth. Some could argue that many of the photos submitted here are a total waste of bandwidth or indeed a site that has nothing to do with making the world a better place, etc, etc.
Vote, don't vote, read, don't read. But do relax please.

Do not be intimidated by posters like shirozina who has something negative or personal to say on everyone else's postings. If you think your survey has or may have value, go for it. These other guys are not Gods but rather just like all of us.
I hate to see this kind of stuff happen to well intentioned people.
I am interested in what system others are using with their alternative gear. I read every thread posted here even though I probably will never own a lot of the gear that is discussed. This is a wonderful place to learn.
One of the reasons that I enjoy the alternative forum so much is that most who post here are polite and knowledgeable.

I ask questions - if that is negative or personal I'll make a mental note to only respond with gushing praise to posts I agree with and stay silent when people post stuff that I think is wrong or pointless. Thanks anyway for pointing my error - even though it could be interpreted by some as negative or personal.
Thank you everybody that participated in this poll and for your posts.

Thanks, Woody. After running this unscientific poll for more than two full days, we received a clear pretty clear picture of what people use most. I believe that running this for a few more days would not change the distribution anymore. That's the reason I intend to delete this thread.

I believe courtesey goes a long way and here on FM, the vast majority of FMers is indeed very courteous. I am not suggesting you what to do, but if you don't have anything positive to say or contribute to a certain thread, people will appreciate your staying away or at least, please express it in a little bit more courteous way if you don't agree and if you consider something pointless (true, false or indifferent), just let it be, please. In the same fashion, only positive feedbacks are allowed on the B&S forum by the moderators.
