These pictures are from the first Ultimae Frisbee game I ever attended (a casual league).
The players were nice enought to tell me the rules (basically like frisbee basteball/football, first team to 15 wins).

Put it this way - my mate over here in the UK plays ultimate... one of the tournaments was sponsored by Subway, and they wheeled out a tray of subs between matches. It's a sport for people who don't like sports

Nice shots though.

It's not a stoner sport, my friend plays for the washington huskies squad. We used to play all the time before running during cross county season.

huh? All the best ultimate players I know are sports nuts. Even the part time players.

The comment was made with tongue firmly in cheek, hence the winking smiley at the end - my best mate plays UF and we always give him a bit of a friendly ribbing about it, as he never really played a sport seriously at all, until getting into Ultimate.

I think the comments in this thread about it being a stoner sport are just having a laugh, it's just a stereotypical image that the sport has.
