You might also KEEP checking B&H used I brought mine for $609 there were three of them there they were gone in about an hour. They were refurnbishised.
Try Hand held at 2X with bright light fill and a good pair of knee pads.
Thanks for the info bud, i hope i wasn't to hard on you about the dirt on your sensor. This lens shur brings it out , I had to clean mine and do a little PS on some. This is a cool lens , one of our members has loned it to me to play with for awhile, how cool is that. And I don't really know him that well, I have responded to you more than him, if that tells you anything. I'll try to get the link to the rail you mentioned and add it to our list.
