Thank you Victor. The 90 mm Elmarit is a very good lens, altough lately I find myself using mostly the Canon 90 mm TSE or the 100 mm Apo-Macro Elmarit when photographing in this range.
Just to show the other end of the $ extreme here's a shot with my 20d and Steinheil Munchen Cassar S 50/2.8. The lens cost me $20 Cdn and I probably overpaid but it's interesting. It's a M42 mount from an old Tower camera from the 1950's (I think). The shot is nothing special, I was just playing around trying out my Katz Eye split prism focus screen.
Zuiko 28/2 on 5D. After 8 years peaceful life here, I am leaving this beautiful place, where I met my wife, got married, had my son and got my PhD. A lot of hard time, but so much wonderful memory . Here comes the 9th spring ...
Victor, expressive shot from Albi! Wonderful place btw. Their enormous and amazing cathedral must be one of the best kept secrets in France. Here is a shot of (part of) the ceiling. Olympus C-8080.
Talk about coincidence. What is chance two of us not only take image of the ceiling, but samepart!
Here is hand held same P25 80mm likely some hand shake, but not TOO bad
Detail so much this is compressed to level 1 jpg. original very ok (needs rotation fix though )
