I am using the APO version. Great lens I'd say. Here is a snap

my summicron-r 90 is the latest NON-APO version, a tad on the soft side wide open, making portraits even more appealing:

Thanks, Zhang. But mine was actually inspired by a shot of yours posted a couple of weeks (or so) earlier. It was wide-open shot of what I think was the tip of a tulip.

I'm back and had a little time today to experiement using my Zuiko 90/2 macro with the inexpensive Vivitar Macro Focusing 2x TC (in OM mount, from the 80/90's). Very well built, and it includes a built in variable extension tube. With no extension the combo will focus from infinity to 1:1. Effectively turning the 90/2 macro into a 180/4 macro. Here's are shot of a dead leaf on rocks with no extension:

And a pic with full extension:

Lovely image! I love the quality of Hasselblad and Portra. What version of the 150 do you have?

OK. Here's an old image -- 20 years old -- when I was just a lad. I recently uncovered a motherlode of old slides and negatives (amazing what you find when moving).
This is a lake in Sweden, God only knows where.

Lotusm50 - that has really good feel to it. Great color and depth. I still think the right film for the right scene can look better than digital.

Nice Shot Lotus50! And I agree with the others... there is a certain wonderful quality to that image. Makes me want to take off the DMR and try film in my leica. Did you make the scan? That's done well too.

Thanks for all the comments.
Eric- Yes. I did the scan. It was done on a KonicaMinolta Dimage Scan Elite 5400 II which I find provides really excellent results without much effort.

Seoul at Night.

1Ds
Carl Zeiss 35-70/3.4 @ 70mm and f/11 if I remember correctly.

This reduced jpeg does not do justice to the original file at all. This lens is as sharp in the corners as it is center frame, and bleedingly so. While I was processing this image (Lightroom) I was thinking, man, I need to turn the sharpening way down, and it was already at zero! I put some outpout sharpening on the file, obviously. This lens is slowly become my favourite among C/Y mount lenses.

That is a lovely shot Kuan. It also has that distinctive Zeiss bokeh where edges seem to form where they shouldn't, for example in the trellis on the wall.

Here's some with a CZ 35 F1.4:

It's funny how camera movement can be a good ingredient in some pictures but spoils others.
