I love the sky and the colors in your picture... I find myself imagining what it must have looked like in its prime. Nicely done.

In it's earliest life this tanker was part of the Department of Forestry fleet. Later it was turned over to the volunteer fire department in the tiny logging town of Pedee, where it served faithfully for many years (I remember it from my fire department days in another nearby town many years ago). At any rate, the words on the side can still be seen to read "Pedee Fire Dept."
