p.1 #1 · Nikon 24 2.8,35.20 vs Canon versions

Hi everyone, I was wondering- always wondering- if anyone had any experience with both the Canon and Nikon versions of these lenses. I know Photodo rated the Canons higher, but I think photozone favors the Nikon. Is the build quality any better on the Nikon? Are the Nikon's as sharp or sharper? Thanks Clay

I use both on film and digital and you can't tell the difference between any of the photos taken with them except for differences with the actual sensor. Build quality is identical but they are both small primes. Photodo is only looking at one aspect of the lens, that being the MTF which is only a small factor in the actual performance of a given lens. I usually place more emphasis on Photodo when shopping for a repro or macro lens not one to shoot landscapes and group photos...
