If there was an APS-C format successor to the 20D, and it had a viewfinder with, say 1.4x magnification, I'd drop my XT in B&S and upgrade in a second. That would be the single most useful thing on a cropped dSLR that I could imagine, if they could keep it bright enough.

An EOS 20D MK II wouldn't surprise me. But an EOS Elan Digital makes sense as a consumer DSLR above the Rebel XT. I'd prefer a real name rather than a stupid number. I only hope it has ECF...
