Today's shooting was a little more interesting because we had gusty wind with a cold front coming through. I usually setup with my tripod, but I didn't think I had time. I turned VR on, and as the train got closer, naturally the wind picked up, and I didn't think I'd even get a crisp shot. Anyway, I like what I got.
All shot with the Nikon D2X, 80-400 Zoom-Nikkor, ISO 100, manual exposure.

I've never seen the '7777' locomotive before, I'm please with how crisp these images are.

The outside numbers have a little movement because it's so close, but still dead on focus. This is about the time your adrenaline flow is about to rupture your arteries
