As mentioned before a soccer ball hit my D2h from the blind side
while I was shooting football. Here's a sample image after the hit.
And most images looked like this from that day.

Today I shoot some more football but used my D70s. Boy is
this camera slow compared to the D2h. I really had to anticipate
and follow the action. The Sigma impressed me today.

Sory to hear about your D2H, I hope you had insurance. The shots with the D70 slow or not are great!! nice and sharp, great color and DOF.

Good to see another photographer shooting with a Sigma 300.. I more and more impressed with my copy every time I use it. Damn shame about the d2h
