p.1 #1 · My favourite "family" lens

I just wanted to share a few pictures I took recently with my favourite "family" lens, I mean the lens I am putting on the D70 to shoot portraits and some family activities. If I remember well, it all started in July when I was looking for a good portrait lens and was hesitating to pay the price for a 28-70 f2.8. Thanks to lxdesign (David), I went for a used 35-70mm f2.8 Nikkor. I am seriously recommending this lens. Sharp pictures, nice bokeh when fully open, nice range too for my "family shots".

The pictures hereunder have been taken at a restaurant... (my wife, my son, his girlfriend, my mother and myself...) the last ones are the dessert...

This lens is really a bargain: I paid 250$ used and I am amazed by the quality of the pictures... definitely better than a P&S ;D
The design of the lens is a bit old fashioned, it is a "pumping" zoom, pretty heavy but it is very high quality glass !
