p.1 #1 · 12-24mm and 24mm prime

Hi all
Just wondering if anyone has a 24mm F2.8 AIS or AF and what the prime compares to the 12-24mm at its 24mm setting.

Both are on par with just a very, very slight edge to the prime. The 24 is a very compact lens with no CA and I use it primarily for sititching vertical shots into panoramas. When you use the zoom between 12-18 you might get a little bit of CA but this easily corrected in ACR or Capture.
