p.1 #1 · Thank You John McFadden | |
You convinced me to pick up a D2H not too long ago as a primary body for my shooting. I must say that I have fallen in love with it! Although I have yet to shoot some action with it, I did manage to take my camera's on a brisk hike back into Wilson's Pond today.
Although these aren't of your quality, I think a few might make print. Some may be darker than many would like, but it adds a little to the flavor of the photo. Anyways, on to the photos!

We saw this great location as we were headed in to the cache (geocaching was the name of the game today, Gulliver's Crew claims another first find) and spotted this section of the trail covered in moss. Mental note #1.

Wilson's Pond. A nice little pond at the top of a 3 mile hike. A canoe was left for your usage, bring a paddle. Furnished leanto for the night, with firepit right alongside makes life pretty pleasent. Photos cannot describe the calm of this little pond.

A small mushroom within the moss on the way back to the car. Sometimes its the simplest of things that really make your day.
This little gem of a location is just east of Eagle Lake in the Adirondacks, I highly recommend it for a quick hike with camera gear and a bottle of wine. Again, thanks for all your words of wisdom John and everyone on these boards! Without you guys, none of this would be possible.
