p.1 #1 · Looking for alternative to Coolwalker, portable viewing screen/LCD

The Nikon Coolwalker has a 1.8" viewing screen. It also has, I think, 40 Gb of storage. I don't need the storage. I'd like to find something with a larger LCD that I can plug into my D70 to view my photos and show photos to my subjects as I take them. I would need to use the video outlet because plugging in to the USB switches the camera to PC (download) mode. I've tried hooking up to televisions and it works so I can view the images the same as I do on my camera's LCD, as I take them. I've tried a few DVD players, but the image is very grainy, very poor resolution. I'm looking for portability, battery powered, easy to carry while shooting, and the same kind of resolution that I get on my camera's LCD screen. Anybody know of any great solutions/products that would solve the problem?

Thanks,

Brian

Sounds like a used laptop is what you're looking for. Probably not as small or as light as you want, but ~$300 will get a decent used laptop with plenty of storage and a good screen for viewing pics.

Hi Brian,

You might want to take a look at the new product of Creative which is Zen Vision..

Epson also has one I think.
