I like the first one the best here Jack , whew you live in some flat country there my friend. Do they row plant all that slash pine down there like they did in Florida? Perhaps getting "into" the pines and shooting out into the fields of 'nuts would offer some more visual interest and pattern?

Nice stuff Jack - I especially like the symmetry of the last one. You need some side-lit train shots coming through that fog!

Some nice stuff there, its amazing how much haze can change an ordinary shot.

Nice series. The second one works best for me. I like the hazy morning light.

No 2. is interesting; I wonder if it would look better if you burned in the shadow of the tree trunk a little?

Thanks John. Buddy, it's so flat here it hurts. I'm thinking about buying a 'cherry picker' so I can get some elevation All the cultivated pine here is row planted. That's certainly a good idea about getting into the pines, hmmm. As you can tell, I'm desparate for visual interest and pattern

Thanks Ute! I'm really having to push myself to get up early enough for the early morning light

Thanks! Yeah, I've been 'turned on' to the haze, and trying to make good use of it.

Thanks David. I'm hoping to do something better with the haze! Maybe even a train shot or two, hehe.

Like the first picture the best Jack, just hits the right mood for me. Having lived in Central Mississippi once upon a time, seeing the pictures reminded me about how flat some areas are though.
