p.1 #1 · D50 photoshop raw

Does anybody know if the raw files of the D50 are the same as the D70? In the Adobe Camera Raw 3.1 the D50 is not listed and I was wondering if the files can be opened up and adjusted just the the D70 ones.(PS CS2)

I'm thinking about picking up a D50...
thanks

Good question..I'm looking to start loading up (2-3) on some good glass and I would like to try both Nikon and Canon systems. It's really the glass that matters to me most and then when I find what I like I'll get rid of the other system and by then pick up the newest body in that line.

I'm getting a little worried with all I hear about problems with Canon lenses..

I figured I'd shoot for about 6-12 months with both the D50 and EOS 350.

What have you heard? I thought that Canon's L-lenses were top-of-the-line......

(These questions have nothing to do with what this post actually is all about, but couldn't dare Sorry!)

I'm always hearing about "bad" or "soft" copies and front focusing and back focusing etc....and having to send them to Canon. Sometimes with the camera body to have the lenses recalibrated.

If they are the same, that would be the first time ever. Historically, every single dslr has had a different raw file. I would bet you that ACR will not be able to open them.

Thanks Jack.

I was thinking along those lines. That's what I was afraid of. Adobe hopefully will have an update out soon...
