Does new Photoshop CC update install without your plugins like the earlier versions did? It's always such a pain for me, remembering how to reinstall everything.

I seem to recall reading somewhere in the recent past that with this version Adobe was going to quit playing musical chairs with where it places third party plugins and how they are accessed by Ps so as to avoid the repeated tedium of reinstalling each and every time Ps is updated. Hopefully they have done that.

I believe this is the case if you are moving from major version to another (ie 2015.5 to 2017), rather than updating within that version, and especially if you allow it to remove previous installs.
