Okay, my contribution as well.... Not a portrait set up like many others but its pretty flexible. The first is the table top set up for products. I made the table out of PVC. The latter was just messing around with my dog JJ.

Great dog photo! Is that a sheet of diffusion between the light and snoot?

Thanks! Yes it is. In order to use the snoot on the profoto's, you have to use the Grid/gel holder. I used white diffusion on that shot.

209 some odd pages... I can't read all them, so....has anyone bought/built a shed specifically for a studio? Something separate in the back yard? I've looked at a lot of the studios and they look really nice, but they seem like they would get in the way of daily life. Awesome work guys

Gary, Some great stuff. I think the key thing to keep in mind is that even with limited space you can really do amazing things. From cinder block to a pro studio !!!!!!! kudos

Wow, nice place you have there Maurice. Now, I'll go home to my dim-lighted room and bang my head against the keyboard.

I've been reading this thread for three days.. It needs a bump.. this is the BEST information I have ever read about building a studio. I'm scraping the $$ together for lights right now. John I'll buy your book if you ever publish it! FANTASTIC!
