I am thinking about getting one of these but everywhere I go the description says it uses nicad or alkaline or lithium AA batteries with no mention of NIMH AAs.

Does anyone use this with NIMH AAs? I have no intention of abandoning my NIMH collection and returning to NICADs if I can help it.

Also, if you have and use the unit, how do you like it? I would be using it on the 550EX at weddings.

I have both the Nikon and Canon versions of the same power supply, which is made by a third party. NiMH cells will do fine.
