Tony these are outstanding images and you are so lucky to have hummers that stay year round or at least very late into the year. Here in Iowa our Ruby Throated Hummers depart usually at the first sign that cold weather is setting in.
I have some pics where I've gotten the rainbow effect, it's very cool, but mine aren't near as nice as yours!

Thanks & you're welcome. Tripod and hoped they stayed still. Have to use a higher f-stop to get enough DOF. Even at f11, can't get the bill in focus unless it it turned sideways to me.

Thanks, John. Yes, it is surprising how the Anna's have adapted to winter weather this far north.
Very nice Tony seeing shots like that shows what one can do with a 7D MKII and the new 100-400 MKII. In some ways seeing shots like this brings back the need for a 1D MKX (Cropped version of the 1DX with a higher megapixel count) then again you have shown that a 7D2 is well suited for the task.
Thanks for showing what the 7Dm2 and the new lens can do. Appreciated. But with your talent, you could probably take quite respectable photos with a Coke bottle bottom as a lens.
