p.1 #1 · D750 Black Line in Images?

So I received my camera and started snapping some photos and came across this black line on the top in a lot of my photos. It doesnt happen with all of the photos though and there is no pattern as to the settings either. Heres a SOOC shot. Anyone know what could be causing this? Ive never had this problem on a camera before...its weird.

Try a different card. I've seen similar issues from a flaky SD card before

Could be the mirror not raising up. Take the lens off and see if you have a stuck mirror. Both my D800 and D600 have had their mirror assemblies fail. Could also be a shutter problem....

I was going to say it looks like a flash sync problem but the EXIF indicates no flash and 1/125. Looks like an intermittent stuck shutter curtain to me - I would replace the camera.

I took a shot with no lens and didnt notice the mirror being stuck. Here is the photo I took without a lens pointing at a bright window. Notice the line still appears...

In the Canon world, this would be a classic symptom of impending shutter failure. Not sure about Nikon.
