Wonderful shots, Christo, especially the second one. Awesome colors and fantastic clouds. We've been in Yellowstone this May/June and had a great time, too.
Beautiful images, particularly the second one. We are fortunate the national parks are set aside for exactly that purpose. I guess the government does do somethings right . Thanks for sharing the pictures.
Beautiful! I liked #3 best...
Hugh is right in saying that the national parks are set aside for beautiful scenery and photography I am not a US citizen but I really appreciate all the nature that has been preserved by the National Parks initiative. I always look forward to going to one everytime I have the chance
These are gorgeous. Love the buffalo photo, especially. How did you convince that group in the center to line up in such a nice diagonal
Beautiful skies. Surely these national parks and public lands are worth fighting to save and it's a constant up-hill battle. Photos like this inspire folks to fight the good fight.

Dieter
Dieter, thanks.
I used a circular polarizer for the first time with those shots, and it really helps saturating the colors and amphasizing the clouds.

hugh
Hugh, I agree, the national parks are a great invention.
Glad you liked these images.

Same here! I'm looking forward to go to a national park again. And it's actually pretty soon: I'm leaving on friday for a week in Bryce Canyon and Zion. Yoohoo!

Rosemary
Rosemary: It's only afterwards that I noticed how well aligned the elks were..
I must add that going to Yellowstone, my first visit to a national park, made me discover how beautiful the nature can be when it's preserved. And I certainly feel like helping those initiatives.
Great captures Christo. My guess says that the first one is Norris Gyser
and the last two are in/near Old Faithful. I like the last 2 more - looks
very tranquil with the Bison and amazing color of water in the last one.
Ever thought of making the 2nd one a BW. Just curious. If you have the time
and if you are curious you could post the BW version of the 2nd one.
