I love the new Canon 11-24mm very, very much. The focusing using the focus peaking is a breeze. Of course, the extended depth of field helps . And, boy, that lens sharp. It is designed to excel on the 50MP Canon body. I used that lens exclusively inside ice caves and for the northern lights. The only drawback is the weight and bulk. It is about the same in those respects to the NIkkor 14-24mm lens.
Pair the Voigtlander 15/4.5 III with the VM-E helicoid adapter and you can get literally inches close to your subject! I have to play with this more but the ability to focus close is much more than I anticipated. I was so close to the top of this fire hydrant I was worried about the lens touching it. Shot at either f/4.5 or 5.6

Me and my 9month old son, all with A7r + FE 55/1.8.
One of underrated lenses... Mamiya 300/5.6 ULD, ..very cheap and lightweight, my copy has a bit stiff focusing ring. I bought it primary for MFD but it didn´t cooperate with a splitscreen in Leica S2 so I tried it with A7r and the performance is superb. Almost unvisible CA due to ULD lens elements. Stacked adapters used.. Fotodiox Pro M645-NiK + Commlite Nikon G-NEX.
A random set of Voigtlander 15/4.5 III shots while walking to work this morning. I like the sharpness of this lens. I've noticed just a bit of CA in the corners on some shots but it cleans up quite easily in Lightroom.

Would like 100-300 but unfortunately it's too expensive for me right now after some purchases
