p.1 #1 · Sunset HDR Infrared Panorama

16 x 7 exposures taken with a IR modified Canon 60D and 100mm lens

The HDR stacks were processed in Photomatix and then stitched in Autopano Giga3 before finishing in CS6. The final image is 36,000 pixels wide and 1.5Gb in size.

Hey Kev,

That is some cool looking sun rays there, and the overall image looks great. You can post this larger, check the guidelines, but with pano's you can go 600pix or so high, and just let the width go to whatever it will go to.

Thank you Jim,

I was put off making the image wider as I've seen what happens to the page when I've done it in the past. A larger version of 5000px is on Flickr http://www.flickr.com/photos/kevlewis/9037720050/

The rays of sun are very interesting here, and works well for the panoramic format. I do wish the sky wasn't darker than the foreground in shade though. That's one of the strange effects HDR has on landscapes.
