Could someone recommend a service that put's together photo books. I have a client that is wanting one for their 50th wedding aniversary. I don't know if this is possible, but what they are wanting is part of the book to be photo's and the other part a scrap book to add comments about the couple that guest have written.

Thanks,
Jim C.

If you have a Mac, you could try making one with iPhoto and ordering it through Apple. If you want to see a sample, go to an Apple store -- they'll have one you can look through. It might not be high-quality enough for y'all, though.

You can try mypublisher.com they do books that look more like yearbooks but when you request singled sided print the other side stays blank and people can use to print their messages. I saw this book at a wedding and the bride only paid $36 with 30 pages of pictures and some pages had up to 4 pictures in them I hope this helps

Apple iPhoto books are made by mypublisher.com. I had one made for my in-laws 30th anniv. The quality is not the greatest, but there were tears all around anyway.

There are a few options in this type of book. I've been researching a few myself. In addition to iPhoto (which is made by mypublisher.com as mentioned earlier) there is ofoto.com and shutterfly.com. Most of these books are printed with digital offset presses so while your work isn't shown on photographic paper there is a certain "book-like quality" to the final piece. Also, these books can have either cloth, leather or faux suede book bindings and are relatively cheap to produce (between $30-40). Good luck!

You may also want to try a local scrapbooking place. They tend to be very creative (and prolly could use the $$$).

Just an idea. I have a local one that serves as a distributor for me on certain items. At times, they make me look more creative than I am.
