Great shot! It might be blasphemy, but I think it would be a stronger photo without the falls. Cropping to a similar point in the slope of the Sentinel Dome as the slope to the west of El Cap would highlight the repeat. The real show is in the sky anyway

These types of skies come and go from time to time, but when you're at the right place at the right time it makes it so much more special.

When were these taken? When I was there last week, clouds kept moving in midday, only to clear out just enough for the sun to make it through the west.
