It was taken near a village called Castelo de Vide, in the portuguese Alentejo region.

You are almost right! However, your pic has been taken at �vora (very nice pic, btw...), some 90 miles away from Castelo de Vide....I think that you are referring to a similar pre-historic park, 5 miles to the north of �vora...
