Taken this evening in the Snohomish Valley. I sort of walked a ways off the road into the field. Hoping I wasn't encroaching too far. As I was shooting, the owner of the property drove by, backed up, and told me they were her flowers. I asked if I was OK where I was and she said that I was fine. I thanked her and she smiled and drove off.
As always, your thoughts, comments, and suggestions are welcome.
I really like the image, but did you put a slight vignette on it? Seems the flowers are a bit on the dark side in the corners and that sort of bothers my eyes. I wish we had flowers like that in my area this time of year!
Thanks Everyone! I appreciate you looking and your nice comments. I'm glad you like it.
Travis,
This is a single shot using the flash as fill light. Which worked just enough to brighten the flowers. I used the graduated filter in Lightroom 5 (beta) to add a bit more intensity to the sky thus leaving dark tips on the flowers.
A magnificent image, John.
Nice shooting.
Nobody else has mentioned it, so it's probably just me, but the colors seem a bit too brilliant.
$.02 worth (and overpriced at that ).
