I have C/Y 50/1.4 MM, any idea how much would it cost to have it cleaned by Zeiss? (cause without proper tools I cant separate more than few elements and get that dust out, otherwise I would already do it myself)
Do they still service Contax lens? Last time I emailed both Zeiss and Kyocera, they said they no longer have the right equipment to perform such service. I would love to hear otherwise.
if it's MM you should be able to get a quote by emailing them through their website. unless it's a thick coating of dust i wouldn't waste your money though, there won't be any difference in your pictures.
At will van Manen in Holland a compleet CLA costs € 85,--. You can send the lens by mail if you wish. He is a Leica connaisseur but does all kinds of brands.
This man cleaned and repared a lot of lenses of mine, stucked aperture blades etc..
He has world wide clientèle. 10 to 15 working days and 6 moth's garentee.
That's why I don't understand why his website is in Dutch, therefore I translated some for you.
Cause its rear part of element and dust is pretty visible, I think it can give some issues. Its impossible to take apart without proper tools.

Thank you for your offer, most likely wont use it, but Im very positive, that some people here might want to know that there is alternative. Holland is further away from me than Germany (Im next to Germany).
Otherwise it should be 100 EUR/125 USD said Zeiss man over mail. He mentioned something about free workshops which I didnt get what he meant... (so Im bothering him again via mail ).
