Called Sadie, this Vulcan 0-6-0 tank engine travels around to various tourist railroads for working visits. For 3 weekends, it is at the Naugatuck RR aka Railroad Museum of New England. From the Thomaston station, it pushes south and then pulls up-river for an hour long ride. I took the ride to scout for photo locations and determined that it would be best to return the next day for better sun angle. I still have that distinctive smell of soft coal in my nose and that's just fine with me!
