My daughter's HS boys LAX team played the arch-rival in the Central Mass semi-finals earlier this week. The past two years, they have knocked them out of the playoffs, en route to consecutive state final appearances.
This year, three key starters were gone for most of the season, including the top scorer for the entire season. They were down 6-1 going into the third, but rallied to close the gap. However, they lost 8-6.
This field faces East-West, so late afternoon sun is a challenge.
