A couple of good ones, alraC.
Oh, I also like signs.
Whenever I wear out a car and buy another, the first thing I check is the turning radius; I make a lot of U-turns .

Here are a couple of my favorites:
#1 in Utah
#2 in Florida
Fifty or sixty years ago, there was a sign on a fence off highway 92 at the upper end of the valley above Half Moon Bay that read "No Trespassing - survivors will be prosecuted." I wish I'd had a camera back then!
I think in the Bucking Horse sign, it was probably prairie wind that ripped the sheet metal away. It took me years until I finally sat down and really figured out what that sign really said. Then I Googled it and found it was a cheap ass motel in Laramie with the worst ratings every. Great sign though. Probably shot around '90 or '91.
My favorite Interstate Highway Historical Marker, right on the border between northwestern Montana and the Idaho Panhandle
Not because it is photogenic - but because of the text
Timothy Egan wrote a book about this fire
The concept of a fire in extreme northwestern US blackening the skies over London - wow!
Charlie, where is that Do Not Pass Gas sign? That looks a lot like hwy. 129 in SE Washington, or somewheres in that neighborhood up where it's all winding roads and mountainous, and views galore.
