p.1 #1 · Moonrise Over Wukoki Ruin

Wukoki Ruin is part of Wupatki National Monument in Northern Az. It is a quiet place conducive to introspection. The ruin was abandoned over 800 years ago ostensibly because of the eruption of what is now Sunset Crater to the North. Who knows? My intent was to shoot a moonrise. The clouds nearly preempted it. I started to leave a few times but decided to hang on a while longer. It was mixture of frustration and fun. Someday I will do it again. Thanks for looking.

Hey Steve,

Nice job on capturing the moon there with it and good job on staying with it and not leaving. I have been out there, that is a very quiet place indeed.
