p.1 #1 · What's the rub

I guess when you don't have a napkin a gentle wipe on a branch will have to do to clean bits of food from your beak.

Not surprisingly, these don't rub me the wrong way Eric. Both are very nice with 1 my pick for better light on the eye ~ Ron

Eric, that capture of the Cooper's hawk is fantastic. Love the BG you have in it also. As soon as I saw it I thought this must be the culprit that has been dining on my pigeons. I let my rollers out to fly and every once in a while there seems to be one missing. Last time, I had to put on my leather mittens and pull a Cooper's out of the loft to let it go. She decided to walk in through the trap door and have lunch.

Two nice shots of not your typically seen behavior here, I'll have to remember that technique next time I get some food on my face.

Two really excellent images, Eric.
And without your documenting "le toilette" of these amazing birds, I'd never have known .
