Cuba is famous for its spiffy U.S. 50's cars, most of which are taxis. They are so common, I didn't bother photographing them until I came face-to-grille with this 1958 Oldsmobile 2-door convertible. I couldn't pass it up.
I was there last fall, and you do get overwhelmed by how many cool older cars there are. It takes a bit of care and eye to find the gems, which you did.
And of course, the antenna, spring loaded, on the rear bumper is a special touch. It's a yellow license plate, so a private vehicle.
