I realize this topic has been covered in the past and opinions do vary on the issue. However, I'm considering a used 70-200 VR II which is described as having moderate to heavy internal dust. Is this something that would concern you? Is internal dust inside used lens something to not worry about? I know lenses accumulate dust over time. I guess I'm hesitant because it still is a fairly expensive purchase. Besides internal dust the lens looks great and is being sold by a well respected vendor - so no problems with returns, reputation, etc.

What is the full service cleaning charge these days, about $200? Then you have to be concerned that the lens is reassembled correctly. I would not do it.
