I find Phalaropes to be strikingly handsome birds and these are no exception Tom. I had not idea about the female being the aggressor, see I learned something today! Two fine shots of these delicate birds. I do like the second one the better of the two. Thanks for sharing a bird we don't see too often

Thanks Socrate. I was heading back home from birding and spotted these gals sitting in a ditch alongside of the road of all things! I spun around, headed back and clicked a couple of pics.
