I find this fascinating. At first glance it is a vase with flowers, but then it turns out to be something different. I am not sure what I am looking at but I like the novelty of this image.
Diggin' the tones and transitions, but that slash on the right side of the vase (vase design ?) is a bit jarring. That, and the writing kinda takes away from it.
Fun image, personally, I like the shapes and tones. And, asymmetric vertical alignment.
@CamperJim - a Valentines' 'gift', press a button and the paper bud blossoms to display an appropriate Valentine's cliche. Had just mounted a new acquisition (lens - like I really, really need it - blaming it on up - coming Rugby tournament), saw this sitting on a table across the room - backstory.
