What in this frame was most important to you? The 2nd baseman, runner, or the play with both of them? I do like the action with the ball. Frame as presented is ok, but the runner is a large portion of it and tugs the eye away from the 2nd baseman. Others here shoot way more ball than me and probably can give you better input.
It's a decent frame, but not what I would put on the list of great. From this vantage point, the timing is usually better when he's putting on a tag of a sliding runner. This allows you to crop tighter and focus on the face of the infielder. Even with that, it can be hit or miss. As it stands now, the timing is too early.
I love viewing on the ipad to use pinch zoom to play with the crop.
Suggestion- crop off everything to the right, starting on the left side of the orange in the center of the upper part of the 9 on the jersey.
The adjust height to taste.
You'll see the purpose shirt to the fielder and as the viewer you know the runner is dead meat.
Much better but I know when I shot sports I always tried my best to get the runner as close as possible to the tag, whether it was 2nd or 3rd base...sometimes getting the ball in the frame is just not possible!
