Im up culling through a wedding from this past Saturday and noticed the below first kiss shot.. Oh how I wish I had seen the little kids reactions at the bottom and got off a frame with them in focus. It would have been such a great shot!! Don't you hate when that happens! (just in case you are wondering I have multiple angles of the first kiss shot). Great learning opportunity for me though.......

From this angle, it might be a good idea to simply be focusing on reactions, not the kiss itself.

I agree with this comment because you weren't going to get much else other than a back like you did.

Little girl with her eyes covered is funny and would have been nice.

Churches I work at would never let you shoot from that position. Too obtrusive, they'd say.

I've been to many churches where there is a way to get behind the altar in this way. With a mid to long lens this isn't obtrusive because no one knows you're there. It depends on the design of the building. Now if you're simply walking up and everyone can see you that can be obtrusive. Every building layout is different.
