My son participated in a church instructional league baseball (7-8 year olds). They had a great couple months dodging rain showers and the occasional heat. I had a blast photographing the team. Here's a few shots from this year.
Second shot is a little too big. Consider downsizing to 850px max on the longer side. Usually, the rule of thumb, especially with the little ones is you want faces. Consequently, the second shot doesn't work for me although I see what you were trying to show.
