How close do you have to get to get these kind of shots? I just started with macro and took a picture of a pretty big spider and i would have to be on top of the thing to get that much detail. Even with my 100mm.

Momo - I'm using an MPE-65 lens at about 3:1 mag so the end of the lens would be about 2" away from the subjects.
