I've been busy for the last few weeks and didn't post any.
However, I did enjoy lots of great photos from FM recently.
Here are some of my Green Heron shots last year in May.
Gear: Canon 1D Mark 4 + 500F4 + 1.4x II TC.
Lighting: Side light to almost backlit.
No noise reduction applied as I didn't know the process back then.
Very cool series of one of my favorite birds Tam... love the BG's in these, and nicely composed too.
You should go back and rework the RAW files with your current NR skills.
These are great, Tam! My favorite is the last; somehow, the body proportions on this species look incongruent, but the pose and crop in the portrait shot make it look graceful! My unsophisticated eye doesn't see much noise except for the last image; easily removed, I would think.
