All: D200 + 80-400 VR @ 400mm, ISO 400, 1/1000, f8, fill flash (SB910 + Better Beamer)

This sequence covers 3 seconds over the Oceanside Marine Nature Study Area on Long Island, New York and took place on May 5. I don�t know how the osprey knew the crow was behind it yet it clearly looked distressed and dove to get away.

Great series, Morris; I usually think of Osprey sitting at the top of the food chain, but this crow seems to know who's the boss!

I like this Morris!
I have one just like it with a golden eagle. You would think the bigger bird could just swat away the pest. Guess they aren't as nimble.

Funny how the Crows chase all the raptors.
Osprey, BE, RTH etc.
