Congratulations !!! Wonderful set , I really like 2 and 4, just lovely. I only see these guys on dirt roads , certainly not on a nest with gorgeous background Well done.

Well done and congrats on the first post. I have never seen a killdeer's nest built out of grass. Normally they lay their eggs right among the pebbles on a river bank using the rocks, etc, as the disguise.

These are great, Den; Killdeer are always engaging, and you've caught them beautifully in a great environment. Techs look great in all of them; my favorite is #2 for the interaction, the pose, and the composition.

Tim thanks for your kind comments and concern. I too am always conscious of disturbing nature. I was a good distance away, and as soon as I saw any sign of nervousness from the birds I slowly backed away and left them to their nest.
