7. I know this is not a sports pic, but have seen so many vintage planes flying around the beach when shooting lately and just love this shot.

#1, and #6 for me. Those skies are gorgeous. Love #1 with the backlit spray coming off his board, and the layers of depth in #6. Btw that plance is pretty good too, wish the prop wasnt frozen as much, but that exposure on the plane vs the sky is great.

Numbers 1 and 6 for me as well. A bit too heavy on the clarity and dodge/burn for my taste.

I dunno. Does 1981 count as vintage? If so then I am in serious trouble.

The airplane is a 1981 Yak-50 aerobatic trainer. Very cool in any case.

Thanks for all the comments. Had a GREAT week of surf in Orange County, CA and will have some pics to post in a bit. Looks like the waves have finally woken up after a slow winter.
