p.1 #1 · Anyone bought Sigma lens from China ? What would be issues?

I see China merchant on Fleabay has two Siggys (150 non-OS & 35/1.4) I want for cheaper than USA merchants new. The 35/1.4 is listed at 835 free shipping I believe. And comes with one-year warranty. Not sure for 150 macro.

Maybe I'm being very lazy, but would lens be same as Sigmas sold in USA? I know Nikon gray markets carry no USA warranty and I don't believe Nikon will work on them. What's the deal, Neal??

Why dont you call Sigma and ask them if they will work in Chinese bought lenses?

I'm hoping it would never need "work" or "repairs" but that's wishful thinking.
