I like the rich tonal range - just feels good to me.
Young lady is obviously enjoying the session, a sense conveyed to the viewer. For me, that warmth transcends the technical aspects of the image. Shall I just say I like it?
Phil, it looks real to me. Not one of those over posed overly perfect technical images but real and I like the repeating shapes in the background and the sense of depth. Those elements also help give a sense of place. This actually looks like and honest portrait and I really like it as is....
Hi Phil. This looks pretty darn good and I don't mind the softness or angle one bit! My only nit is her legs being cut off. I'm not sure where you might crop it, but typically I think you'd want to step back a bit and get all of this beauty in the shot....
I wouldn't get all that hung up on the legs. What are you trying to say? Are the legs important and is the crop that objectionable to make this not a strong portrait? I say the crop on the legs is not objectionable and this is not a shot about legs so they are not that important. If the crop were a little higher in really might be a problem.
