I know there is a lot wrong with this photo, but these were taken in 2009 with my Canon xt, and just a polarizer. I didn't know anything about filters or about shooting into the sun or about lightroom. I'm just glad I know now. And still, I was excited when I put these into Lightroom this week, and was able to get them to come out this well. I love the grades of shadow the canyon gives and how it affects the color. And as I'm sure most of you know, but I didn't, that smoke and dust are more common in the canyon than those beautfiul shots we are used to seeing on here, especially in the Summer months.
